UQBC is very welcoming of master’s rowers (anyone over 27 years)! Our masters predominantly focus on the two seasons:
There are several competitive events that masters train for: including the Queensland State Champs, Masters Nationals, UQBC Brown Snake Omnium in September, the Head of the Brisbane in October, the Convict Chase early Novmeber and the Head of the Yarra in Melbourne on the last Saturday in November, where we have achieved enormous success in recent years.
Over the summer, many of our master’s branch into smaller boats to compete in 1000m races. Contact info@uqbc.org if you have previous rowing experience and are interested in joining our master’s contingent.
