AIRC INFO:

Individuals with their own access to Concept 2 rowing machines can do so easily but the idea is to have clubs, schools and gyms be hubs for their members to take part in the virtual AIRC this year. This is the perfect opportunity for club members to get together for a day of racing and to set the bar for the season.

Competitors will connect to the Time Team live Homerace system and race live against others from all over Australia and abroad. We will be running alongside NZ Indoor champs as a combined Oceania championship event also so competitors can not only be the best in Australia but Oceania too. The whole event will be hosted on our Platform where people can tune into the livestream, see the live results plus interact via social media all in one place.

We want to bring together rowers from across Australia and connect the whole rowing community as well as introduce others to rowing through an indoor rowing event.

CLUBS

Compete in live virtual racing including video streaming! Competitors from all across Australia and New Zealand! Qualify for the World Indoor Rowing Championships

This year we are going virtual with live results and live streaming covering all the action from competitors across Australia. We will also be running alongside the New Zealand Indoor Rowing Championships which means you will also be competing for the Oceania titles. Results will also be considered for qualification for World Indoor Rowing Championships.

This is the perfect opportunity to get all club members together for a day of racing and to set the bar for the season. All clubs are able to set up as a hub for racing on the day and have their members compete together and against the rest of Australia and New Zealand.

There are four racing formats, 500m, 1000m, 2000m and 4x500m relay. So even if you’re not feeling at peak performance you can still rip a 500m or get a team together and take on the relay!
